View roll up of all Projects

eTrack is excellent at planning and tracking one project.   However, eTrack's full power is apparent when viewing budgets, schedules, resource usage and projections across all your projects and admin tasks.

Run standard and custom reports for any group of projects with 'traffic light' feedback.

Build your own custom reports.

By right clicking, the user can sort, filter, 'drill down' and export.

eTrack's flagship feature that stands it apart from competitors is its scheduling and resource management feature, called the 'Gantt Sheet' because it combines the flexibility of a spreadsheet with the usability of a Gantt chart.

On one screen you can view: a) the schedule for one project or any group of multiple projects; and b) the allocation of roles, people and equipment.  Resolutions are by day, week or month and in time or dollars.

Create a Project from a Template

Templates are your knowledge base.    They are paramount to enable you a) to have the time to work on your business and not in it and b) provide accurate estimates.

Templates can be set up to include:

  • Stages and Tasks
  • Assigned Roles and People
  • Rates
  • Estimated hours
  • Cost centres and billing types
  • Margin percentages or dollars
  • Compliance Checklists or QA Tasks
  • Disbursement rates and estimates
  • Procedures and Guidelines
  • Links to document and drawing templates
  • Workflow Steps and responsible resources
  • Dependencies between Projects, Stages and Tasks
  • Email Alerts (eg when someone is assigned or the Status changes)

Budget a Project

Providing accurate proposals is crucial to stay in business.   eTrack allows estimates to be done in both top down (from contract price) and bottom up (from assignees hours and QA Tasks).

  1. Specify a contract price and enter percentages or prices for each stage.
  2. Assign people or roles with rates and specify hours for each Stage or Task.
  3. Include disbursements, equipment and materials .
  4. Allow any combination of fixed price, fixed hourly rates, or assigned role or person hourly rates.
  5. Specify margin, risk and profits.
  6. Estimate hours for each compliance QA Task.

This project details tab shows a budget summary for a project.
